Award Ceremony 2010

For the eleventh time, the SWISS BRIDGE AWARD was presented to three distinguished scientists: The award winners are: Andrea Alimonti, M.C., Oncology Institute of Southern Switzerland (IOSI), Bellinzona, Ronit Satchi-Fainaro, Ph.D., Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Israel and Anna Sablina, Ph.D., VIB Research Insitute, K.U.Leuven, Belgium.

The Board of Foundation invited researchers to submit a new project application. Out of the 40 letters of intent submited to the Scientific Office of the Swiss Cancer League and the international scientific committee unter the leadership of Professor Gordon McVie, six scientists were invited to submit a full project description.

The ceremony took place in Zurich on 26th October 2010. Professor Gordon McVie introduced the three award winners to the 40 guests in his usual humoristic speech.
